Voice
In EMU’s voice performance program you’ll learn classical techniques, performing art
songs and arias in Italian, French and German. But you’ll also get an opportunity
to compose music, integrate music from other cultures into recitals, or experience
the entrepreneurial side of music with an internship in a recording studio. Our small,
personalized program will help you to develop your voice to its full potential, whether
you want to sing in the opera or perform on the country music stage. You’ll receive
the individual attention of faculty who perform and collaborate with you.
Perform Together
- Solo, ensembles, concerto aria contests, choir tours and musical leads, you can do it all you’re not limited to one area or one interest.
- Immerse yourself in classical styles to stretch and strengthen your voice and help you achieve your goals.
- Perform with professionals in the Shenandoah Valley Bach Festival.
- Learn arts management and the technical and administrative side of music through internships with Blue Sprocket Studio.
- Lessons with our professional faculty are subsidized for music majors and minors by Encore, our alumni association
