Research Opportunities for Undergraduate Students
Explore your research interests chemistry, biology, biochemistry, environmental science or health care. At EMU, faculty will be your mentors, whether you're studying stream quality in the Shenandoah Valley, or pest management in Australia. Several research opportunities are funded by grants, making your costs for these opportunities reasonable for undergraduate students.

Students will join professor Matthew Siderhurst in research funded by the National Science Foundation. They will spend time in Australia in the summer studying invasive fruit fly species.

Students often join faculty in research projects, giving students an opportunity for mentoring and exploration of research interests.
