Professional Nursing Licensure and State Requirements

The U.S. Department of Education requires a program to disclose if it meets a U. S. state or territory's educational requirements for licensure [34 CFR 668.43 (a) (5) (v)] . The link below provides information regarding whether the EMU nursing program meets a particular jurisdiction's requirements. A link to each jurisdiction's licensure board is provided and students are encouraged to review the requirements of any jurisdiction in which they are interested in being licensed. Some jurisdictions require an additional course or other work beyond what is provided by the EMU nursing program.
