The Weather Vane is published by a dynamic team of undergraduate students 14 times per academic year. Since its first issue published in 1939, EMU's student-run newspaper has captured the buzz on campus, including student reporting or perspectives on the impact of campus policies, cultural trends, and national politics.

Work-study and practicum opportunities are available for Weather Vane editors and staff. Any EMU student is welcome to be a volunteer to participate in photography, web management, reporting and writing, copyediting, and other aspects of putting out The Weather Vane.

For more information, contact Mary Ann Zehr, faculty advisor for The Weather Vane, at maryann.zehr@emu.edu or the student editors at wvane@emu.edu.
