A Harrisonburg Preschool

The Early Learning Center at EMU is a child-centered, developmentally appropriate preschool program for children ages 2 to 5. Our “emergent” curriculum is child-focused and enables our teachers to be sensitive to the cues of the children and their interests. Our pre-k program runs September through mid-May each school year.

4-year-old preschool

• Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, 9:00-11:30 a.m.
• For children who are four years old by Sept. 30
• Class size usually 14 students
• 2024-2025 monthly tuition: $275

3-year-old preschool

• Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, 12:00-2:30 p.m.
• For children who are three years old by Sept. 30
• Class size usually 12 students
• 2024-2025 monthly tuition: $245

2-year-old preschool 

• Mondays and Tuesdays OR Thursdays and Fridays, 9:15-11:15 a.m.
• For children who are two years old by March 31
• Class size usually 8 students per class
• 2024-2025 monthly tuition: $170
