Clinical Level in the Nursing Program
Admission to study at the undergraduate level at EMU does not imply admission to the clinical level of the nursing program. Students seeking to enter the clinical level of the nursing program must make additional application to the nursing program. The clinical program consists of four semesters of coursework and clinical experience in a variety of agencies.
Acceptance assumes that all admission criteria will be maintained, and all prerequisites completed prior to the start of enrollment in the clinical level of the nursing program.
Schedules
Most nursing classes are Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 9 a.m., 10:40 a.m. and 1:40 – 4:30 p.m. Clinical experiences are Tuesday and Thursday mornings the first semester and 6:45 a.m. – 3 p.m. on Tuesday and Thursdays for most of the remaining semesters. The nursing program may be entered in August or January.
