Cross-Cultural

Cross-cultural experiences take place in June and last roughly three weeks, including orientation and debriefing sessions before and after the experience. Recent cross-cultural experiences include international travel to Guatemala and Peru.

Students have the opportunity to observe the delivery of health care and education in under-served populations. This life-changing encounter leaves students with a broader knowledge of the challenges many face in seeking quality health care and how providers meet the needs of those people.
