DNP Faculty

Our program brings together the highly respected aspects of programming at EMU and Goshen College (Indiana), a sister institution of Mennonite higher education. Through this collaborative online program, students will primarily work in their own time frame (asynchronous course work) with limited scheduled video conference sessions to allow for direct interaction with classmates and faculty on both campuses. Students may choose to receive their degree from either institution.

Rooted in the Anabaptist-Mennonite tradition of service, peacemaking, and community, this program prepares students to be good stewards of available resources and lead within a dynamic healthcare system. Academic rigor and robust student support services provide the tools necessary for adult students to flourish. We understand that your time is valuable, so we want to do everything we can to ensure your success!

What makes our program unique?

  • Online flexibility that doesn't sacrifice relationship and community building among students and faculty
  • Robust student support services designed to ensure your success and sense of belonging
  • Faculty practitioners with decades of clinical and administrative experience
  • A values-based approach to nursing that embraces holistic care for the individual and community
  • A systems-approach to health care delivery that encourages critical thinking and strategic vision for leaders
  • Deep-rooted institutional values that embrace conflict transformation and restorative justice practices
  • Respect and dignity for all persons--patients, families, colleagues, and the larger community
