Is EMU accredited?

EMU is accredited by The Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges, 1866 Southern Lane, Decatur, GA 30033, 404-679-450.

When will the program start? 

The first courses will begin in August of 2022. 

When will the application be available? 

The application will be available starting the fall of 2021. To receive updates sign up for our mailing list.

How long is the program?

Students taking the standard course load (two courses per term) and sequence finish in 21 months.

How many courses are in the core, and how many semesters?

There are 30 hours in the core, and students who take the standard course load (two courses per term) finish in five semesters.

How much is tuition?

Tuition is $625 per credit hour.

Is financial aid available?

Yes. MAHR students may be eligible for unsubsidized federal education loans. Full-time or part-time MAHR students may also consider an affordable monthly payment program that can be used in combination with a loan to reduce interest costs.

Is transfer credit accepted?

Yes, the EMU MAHR program may accept up to six graduate credits from other institutions at the discretion of the program director.

Is the GMAT required?

No, the GMAT is not required.

Can a student begin courses in the fall or spring?

It's preferable for students to begin courses in the fall. 

Can I take one course per semester instead of two?

Yes. While taking two courses is the preferred schedule, students who feel they can’t manage more than one course per semester can take just one course.

Can I enroll in a course even if I am not a degree seeking student?

Yes, you may enroll as a non-degree student. Please contact the MAHR program at 540-432-4027 or mahr@emu.edu for more information and to register.
