Past Programs
In past years EMU’s intercultural programs have included study in over 80 cultural contexts and locations, including Central America, the Middle East, Thailand, Lithuania, Austria, South Africa, Peru, U.S.-Mexico Borderlands, and Native American communities. Below you will find a list of programs previously offered through EMU Intercultural. To read travel journals and see photo archives from these past programs, visit the Intercultural Blog page. You can also connect with previous intercultural participants through stories and recipes found on Cross Cultural Recipes , a 2012 senior seminar project.
Each semester, students participate in the Washington Community Scholars’ Center, an internship program that combines cultural and on-the-job learning with intentional community and life in D.C.
