Welcome to SPI 2024

This summer SPI will offer 3 in-person sessions with at least four courses per session.  Courses are offered for academic credit or audit/training.  Audit/training students are expected to participate fully in classes as outlined in the course syllabus.  Proficiency in spoken and written English is required.

If you are interested in taking a course for academic credit, please contact cjp-registrar@emu.edu

If you are interested in taking a course for audit/training, please complete the SPI Application.

Workshops in Collaboration with Eastern Mennonite Seminary: May 22 and June 13

As part of the ongoing collaboration between the Center for Justice and Peacebuilding and Eastern Mennonite Seminary, the Shalom Collaboratory will host a series of half- and full- trainings geared toward pastoral and lay leaders in faith-based communities. Registration for these events is separate from the application and registration process for the SPI courses listed above. Find more information here:
