Our BS in Leadership and Organizational Management (LOM) with an Aviation concentration program will produce aviation leaders who can contribute to the changing landscape
of the aviation industry.
Although a college degree is not a requirement to become a pilot, it is perceived
as preferred for aviation professionals such as commercial or corporate airline pilots, flight instructors, airport operations
managers, mission aviators, aviation safety inspectors and more. Professionals with a strong foundation in both aviation and leadership principles
are in demand throughout the air transport industry.
EMU at Lancaster collaborates with Aero-Tech Services, Inc., an FAA-approved Part 141 Pilot School, to provide ground and pilot training. Flight
training occurs at the Aero-Tech facility at Lancaster Airport in Lititz, Pennsylvania.
EMU's partnership with this specialized training provider represents an integrated and collaborative approach to delivery of a collegiate aviation program.
For current students returning to flight training during COVID-19- please read the health and safety plan (PDF)
