Parking and Vehicle Registration Policies

EMU will charge a parking fee of $60 per year to all faculty, staff, and students who park a vehicle on the EMU campus. Read about vehicle registration and parking on campus.

Room Reservation Policy

Rooms may be reserved on campus by faculty, staff and students within the guidelines set up by facilities management and our room reservations policies. Learn more about reserving rooms. EMU also has a policy for scheduling spaces and who has priority for the use of various spaces.

Key Policies

For the security of the campus and the members of the EMU community, keys and access to spaces on campus are monitered by faciltities management. Please read over our policies for keys and building access.

Hoverboard Policy

EMU regulates the possession, use, charging and storage of Individual Use Motorized Electric Vehicles (e.g. electric scooters, electric bicycles). Please see the guidelines in the student handbook for details of this policy. 

Fleet Vehicle Use and Policy Guide

The Facilities Management Office is responsible for all EMU fleet vehicles. Fleet vehicles are available for university business and approved university-related activities. Reserve vehicles and see fleet vehicle policies.

Policy for Using EMU’s Gas Grill

Fees:
• $30 for fuel and cleaning
• $25 for moving the grill anywhere on campus other than the Parkwoods area
• The grill can only be used for EMU events on the EMU campus

Process:
• Place a work order through Facilities Management to reserve the grill
• Include date/time and account number in work order
