Academic Support
We all need help sometimes. At EMU, we have multiple programs and offices that aim to help you succeed on your academic journey. We offer tutoring, disability services, programs to learn the English language and individual coaching to help you succeed.

Office of Academic Access (Disability Services)
EMU provides accommodations and support to students with disabilities in full compliance with section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, and the Americans with Disabilities Amendments Act of 2008. Current and prospective students can find resources and assistance at the Office of Academic Access.

Academic Success Center
At the Academic Success Center, you’ll get free help with all of the following: tutoring for a specific class or subject, study strategies, time management, test prep, note-taking, Moodle support, and writing tutoring.

CoachLink
CoachLink will pair each involved undergraduate student with a professional staff member to guide, mentor, help them connect with campus services and regularly check in.

Intensive English Program
Students who are learning English may want to study in our Intensive English Program (IEP). In IEP students can focus full-time on their English classes, concentrating on building language skills through immersion in a new culture.
