Life at college
Did you know about 25% of college students arrive on campus with existing problems like depression, anxiety, attention issues, bipolar disorder or general problems with their moods and concentration?
If that describes your life… you’re not alone. Those challenges or any other struggles you encounter shouldn’t prevent you from being successful at college.
Maybe what you need is a guide, mentor and coach all in one. Someone who’s not your parent, but someone you can count on to help you get connected.
You can do this. We can help.
CoachLink pairs undergraduate students looking for help with graduate student mentors who help you get rooted at EMU and make choices that are right for you as you adjust to life away from home. One hundred percent of CoachLink students at EMU say they are more successful in school and have a better sense of well-being because of the program.
And 100 percent of CoachLink students who have depression, anxiety, ADHD, etc. say having a coach made a difference in their experience at EMU. (You don’t need a certain diagnosis or to be in counseling to utilize CoachLink.)
Mentors who care
When you feel like you need a little extra support, someone to listen without judging, to help you think through a problem, to understand how your moods get in your way, CoachLink is just the answer.
CoachLink can be your safety net, an extra layer of attention that keeps you afloat. One-on-one personalized coaching and mentoring to support you in college life. A person who can stay in touch with you as you need them.
