Courses

  • ICSSC 201 Intercultural Social Science: India 3 SH
    Students will gain understanding of themselves and of their own culture as we explore Indian life and culture, enriched by daily interactions with host country nationals, living and studying on partner university campuses, and reflecting on experiences.
  • ICHIS 317 - Indian History and Culture: Empire, Colonialism, Globalization 3 SH
    Explores the long historical and cultural changes of India dating back to the early Mogul emperors, British rule, Indian independence in 1947, and current governance in the world's largest democracy. 
  • CORE300: Power, Systems and Justice (Activism, Race, Class, Caste and Gender) 3SH

  • ICSOC 304  Food, Energy and a Sustainable Future for India 3 SH

  • ICREL 303 - Belief, Practice and Tradition: World Religions in India 3 SH
    Students will interact with the many religions prevalent in India, visiting mosques, temples, churches, and other religious sites. 

Immunizations

Immunizations and prescriptions may be obtained at EMU Health Services by appointment.
Immunizations may also be obtained from your local health department or primary care provider.
