Why EMU?
From Day 1 I felt part of the community, which is very important in a career. The university’s values mirrored my own, and I enjoy how welcoming and friendly everyone is! EMU offers such a unique experience for everyone, and the emphasis on inclusivity and social justice to develop well-rounded students is exceptional. I am so excited to be here and continue making a difference in our little corner of the world.
Why I love Harrisonburg
I’ve lived here since 2016 and the environment is so fun. It’s a very walkable city with new shops popping up every day and so many places to explore. Being from Charlottesville, it’s great that I can just pop over the mountain whenever. It’s hard to be bored here!
What else you should know about me
I love watching and playing sports (on tv or in person!). I play trivia each week with my friends (sometimes we even win). Talk to me about Harry Potter, the Pittsburgh Steelers, or the new delicious recipe you just made!
