Why EMU?

I moved to Virginia from New York for high school. During the move, I had a pretty hard time
adapting. During that time, I met an incredible teacher at Menchville high school, who brought
warmth and kindness to everyone who crossed her path. During my four years at the school,
she helped guide me in my education, career path, and helped me learn more about
connection. I knew I wanted to be like her and when I found out that she was an alumni of EMU
I knew that was the place I belonged

Why I love Harrisonburg

After being in Harrisonburg for 4 years, I’ve come to love its Collegetown atmosphere. From the
nightlife in the downtown area to the breathtaking views of the valley and rural exploration, this
town has brought me so much joy in my time here and I hope to give back, however I can.

Anything else you should know about me 

I am passionate about industrial organizational psychology. I came to EMU undecided and
juggled through multiple majors until I found how much I love psychology and data science. This
field allows me to combine big tech with humanity and how I can better our lives.
