The advancement division generates philanthropic support and builds favorable public relations for EMU through effective marketing and communications of EMU’s mission, vision, and programs, and cultivates enduring relationships with individual and organizational donors, students, faculty, staff, alumni, parents, congregations and conferences. We do this in collaboration with the EMU community.
Advancement goals and objectives are results oriented, and reflect a commitment to allocate human and financial resources in ways that maximize our effectiveness in telling the EMU story. We share the story through personal relationships with constituents, by producing top quality publications, and through communications via the world of electronic communications – all of this so that prospective students will choose to attend this institution, and alumni and friends will find it meaningful to support EMU as strong advocates and generous donors.
