Orientation Parking

Orientation participants and guests may park at the University Commons parking lot for check in. During dorm move in, residential students may use the unloading zones in front of their building for a more efficient move-in experience. Orientation staff will be available to help carry your belongings into your new home.

When will I get my student ID?

On Tuesday (1/7), students can have their EMU ID made between 10:30 a.m. and 12 p.m. in the lower level of the Library at the Information Systems Help Desk. The ID card is critical. You cannot enter residence halls, use your meal plan, scan for attendance, use the fitness center or the game room, etc. without it. You will also need to bring your ID to the class registration line on Monday so that it can be authorized for the current school year.
When do students register for classes?

You will have the opportunity to meet with your advisor one more time on Tuesday evening when you go through the final registration line. At this time, you will receive your final schedule.
