Young People’s Christian Association (YPCA)

YPCA is the longest-running student organization at EMU! We are a collection of students eager to offer service to our community and beyond. We serve others in the name of Jesus and recognize the opportunities that he grants us.

Kid’s Club (neighborhood children’s ministry)

Every Monday from 5:15-7:15 p.m. at Immanuel Mennonite Church
Every Tuesday from 5:15-7:30 p.m. at Brown Memorial Community Church
Every Wednesday from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at Waynesboro Mennonite Church

The Great Harvest Festival – Sat., Nov. 7 starting at 9 a.m. (Group will leave EMU FRIDAY after dinner and return on Saturday around 9pm)

Join fellow EMU students as well as the larger community in Louisburg, NC at First Fruits Farm, working to harvest sweet potatoes and participate in other harvest activities in order to help those that cannot afford it. Community Connection – Wed., Nov. 11 from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. (breakfast, lunch and t-shirt provided)

Join Park View Federal Credit Union as they live our their heritage of Neighbors Serving Neighbors by observing Veteran’s Day with service to the community. Register by October 15 on-line here.

2016 Spring Break Y-Trips

Spring Break Y-Trips build friendships while serving others in various locations across the East Coast and in southern locations. Plan for March 5-13, 2016.

Limited scholarships are available to help students participate in workshops, seminars and conferences related to Christian service.
