Alumni and Parent Engagement
Jeff Shank is Director of Alumni and Parent Engagement at Eastern Mennonite University, Harrisonburg, VA. Prior to this appointment, Jeff served as Superintendent at Sarasota Christian School. SCS employs close to 60 people in the Sarasota, FL area. Prior to that he spent a number of years as the Executive Director of Development—Alumni Relations at Lancaster Mennonite School. He holds a Masters Degree in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis on Leadership from Penn State University and a Liberal Arts degree (Special Education Certification) from Eastern Mennonite University.
In his spare time he enjoys any type of fishing, golf, and time with family. He lives in Harrisonburg, VA with his wife Julie and has three children Ryan, Tyler, and Emilee.
Jennifer started at EMU in 1992 in the Church Relations and Development Office. In 1998 she moved to the Admissions Office as an admissions counselor for the Shenandoah Valley. Later she worked part time as Campus Visit Coordinator which included all group activities such as Honors Weekend and Homecoming. In 2011 she changed back to being a full time Admissions Counselor working with transfer students. In 2015 she transitioned to the Alumni and Parent Engagement Office. In her spare time she enjoys taking advantage of what the Shenandoah Valley has to offer through hiking, biking and camping. She is married to Kendal Bauman and has 2 children.
Marcia K. Myers earned a bachelors degree in social work from EMU in 1984. After graduating, she worked as an EMU admissions counselor for more than four years. For the next 12 years she worked at home, raising her three daughters. In fall 2000 she returned to EMU as part-time office coordinator for Bible and religion and currently is special events assistant in the development and church relations office. She enjoys baking, gardening, traveling, hiking and spending time with her two grandsons.
