Up to five seats will be reserved for students who meet the requirements of the agreement.

• Pharmacy College Admission Test (PCAT) composite score in the 50th percentile or greater
• a cumulative graduate GPA at EMU of 3.25
• completion of all pre-requisite courses required by SU with a grade of “C” or better
• two letters of recommendation from EMU program faculty members
• one letter from a healthcare provider

Priority Status: Requirements

EMU students that completed/will complete the two-year master’s of science in Biomedicine degree at EMU-MS Biomedicine or one-year Biomedicine Certificate will be given priority status provided that the students meet the following criteria:

• A cumulative GPA at EMU-MS of 3.0 on a 4.0 grading scale;
• Completion of all of the then current pre-requisite courses and credits required for admission to Howard University College of Pharmacy with a grade of “C” or better;
• A cumulative pre-requisite GPA of no less than 3.0 on a 4.0 scale (courses taken at EMU will replace any prerequisite coursework previously attempted);
• Two favorable letters of recommendation from faculty members at EMU-MS; and
• One letter of recommendation from a healthcare provider.
