Lori currently resides in the suburbs surrounding Reading, Pennsylvania. She is in her 16th year teaching 11th and 12th grade language arts at a public high school in Berks County. She also holds the position of co-gifted education coordinator. Her doctoral research utilizes Contemporary Trauma Theory as a framework to explore how educators grieve after the death of a student, how that impacts their lives personally and professionally, and how they perceive institutional expectations of bereavement. She is happy and proud to be part of the EMU team, and she is looking forward to educating, empowering, and challenging her future students.
