EMAIL: zehrpm@emu.edu
Dr. Zehr had the unusual distinction of being a long-time EMU professor while never residing in Harrisonburg. During the 1980s he taught extension classes for Eastern Mennonite Seminary while directing the pastoral training program for Lancaster Mennonite Conference. In 1989 he helped establish the EMU Lancaster program in Pennsylvania and served as its first director while also teaching courses. At the denominational level, he served on General Board and Mennonite Board of Education.
In retirement, Zehr continues his longtime work with the editorial council that produces the Believers Church Bible Commentary series. Currently he chairs the council.
