Tim Reardon is Assistant Professor of New Testament, teaching courses in New Testament interpretation, biblical languages, and Christian tradition at Eastern Mennonite Seminary as well as courses within the undergraduate Bible, Religion, and Theology department. Tim received his Ph.D. in New Testament from Fuller Theological Seminary and also holds degrees from Princeton Theological Seminary and Asbury Theological Seminary. His work has focused on Luke-Acts, soteriology, and theo-political and theological interpretations of Scripture. Most recently, he is the author of The Politics of Salvation: Lukan Soteriology, Atonement, and the Victory of Christ (Bloomsbury T. & T. Clark, 2021).
Tim is also ordained for ministry by the Pacific Southwest Conference of the Mennonite Church (USA) and before moving to Harrisonburg, served as Pastor of Leadership and Teaching at Pasadena Mennonite Church (CA) alongside his spouse Mariann. Before coming to EMU, Tim also taught New Testament and biblical languages at both Fuller Theological Seminary and Azusa Pacific University.
