Roxy Allen Kioko

Roxy Allen Kioko has over 10 years of experience in the social change sector. She is a doctoral student at James Madison University’s School of Strategic Leadership Studies with a concentration in nonprofit and community leadership. Her research interests include social entrepreneurship, accountability, and governance. Roxy has served as a project manager for a large education reform project funded by the MacArthur Foundation, a program and events manager for InsideNGO, and she worked at the Great Place to Work Institute to produce FORTUNE Magazine’s annual “100 Best Companies to Work for in America” list where she learned that work should be meaningful, engaging, purposeful, and fun. Roxy has an MA in conflict transformation with a focus on organizational development from Eastern Mennonite University’s Center for Justice and Peacebuilding.
