EMU Explore

Interested in hiking around the area? Always wanted to try something new like rock climbing or caving? Want to explore the Shenandoah Valley but don’t know where to start? Or maybe you just like to spend time outdoors and want to have a nice study break for awhile? If so, then Explore is perfect for you! EMUExplore strives to provide fun in the outdoors with a variety of planned activities as well as resources to help people plan their own adventures!

Explore hosts guided day trips each semester in many different activity areas such as canoeing, caving, rock climbing, hiking, and mountain biking. The indoor climbing wall is also available to provide fun for the colder winter months. You can sign up for one of our trips led by Outdoor Ministry and Adventure Leadership majors, or use our Adventure Library to find a place to venture out on your own with your friends!

The Adventure Library is located in UC 128 (Athletic Suite conference room). This contains maps and guidebooks of the area for hiking, biking, or climbing. Come check it out!
