Originally from New Jersey, Elizabeth moved to Harrisonburg in 2008 where she found a rewarding position in the nonprofit field as a Program Manager and then Executive Director. Over the years, she has developed and facilitated training workshops in adult literacy, board development, organizational leadership, and nonprofit management. Prior to moving to the nonprofit field, she spent more than 20 years in the legal field as a court reporter, legal researcher, and business owner. Currently she teaches courses in Leadership Practice and Business Ethics at Eastern Mennonite University. Elizabeth and her husband live in Harrisonburg and have four grown children and two grandchildren.
