Dr. Barlet received her D.Ed. from Penn State University in 2014, where her dissertation work in the field of Adult Education focused on leadership-centered involvement opportunities for culturally and linguistically diverse parents of students within the K-12 setting. Dr. Barlet holds two master’s degrees from Millersville University in the areas of Leadership for Teaching and Learning and Language and Literacy. Her bachelor’s degree, earned at Bucknell University, is in Elementary Education with concentrations in ESL and Spanish. In addition to her work as an adjunct instructor for courses within the ESL Certification Program at EMU, Lancaster, Dr. Barlet works as the Supervisor of English Language Development, Spanish Immersion, and World Languages for Manheim Township School District in Lancaster, PA. She previously worked as an ESL Supervisor, ESL Specialist, and Reading Specialist for the School District of Lancaster.
