Interfaith Calendar

One of the ways that we can build belongingness at EMU is to recognize and celebrate the religious and cultural holy days of the various faith and secular traditions present on our campus. EMU students from multi-faith settings have sometimes felt isolated and excluded, and these feelings can be exacerbated during Christian-centered holidays and celebrations. The Center for Interfaith Engagement and the Office of Faith and Spiritual Life are collaborating to create a religious and cultural holidays calendar page that will be added to EMU’s website. We hope that this new page will host brief first-person narratives from students, staff, and faculty that reflect the religious and cultural diversity that exists at EMU.
