Valley Aikido: Way of Harmony
About Us
Valley Aikido is a student group that meets regularly to practice and learn Aikido, a Japanese form of self-defense that integrates body, mind, and spirit and promotes the way of non-violence and peace.
What We Do
As a dojo, we are blessed to have two instructors (sensei) with a combined 45 years of experience. We practice Aikido to destress, stay fit, develop self-defense technique, and bring greater balance to our lives. People of all ages and experience are welcome, this is reflected by current membership. No need to bring a uniform or equipment, just come prepared to learn and move in new ways. Currently, we are meeting in order to practice and learn, and are also working on expanding the club. See you at the dojo!
Meeting Times and Location
Valley Aikido meets two times each week in the Group Fitness Room of the Fitness Center:
- Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:30-7:30pm.
