Maureen Gallon
Museum Education Director

Maureen and her family moved to Virginia in September, 2005 from New Orleans, Louisiana. She currently lives in Bridgewater with husband, Perry, and three children, Ellen, Spencer, and Grace.

Maureen’s career includes being a college instructor of Early Childhood Education and Developmental Studies. She spent two years as a School Improvement Coordinator with the Louisiana Department of Education, and six years as the Education Curator and Curriculum Development Specialist for the Aquarium of the Americas in New Orleans.

In addition to being Education Director for EMU’s Natural History Museum, Maureen is also an instructor of Adult Basic Education and GED at Dayton Learning Center.
