Students offer “Voices of Peace” from their C. Henry Smith Peace Oratorical Contest speeches. Come hear pieces of each speech PLUS a few reflections from some of the Spring Break Y-Trip leaders.

The 2019 C. Henry Smith Peace Oratorical Contest takes place this Friday, March 22, at 7 p.m. in Martin Chapel. This year’s contestants are:

* Lydia Haggard “Get Creative with Creation Care!”
* Sylvia Mast “An Exploration of Language—Recognizing Harm in Silencing the ‘Political’ Voice of the Church”
* Jacob Myers “Peace Between Us: Shalom and Conversation in the Ohio Mennonite Conference”
