The turf field at EMU is one of the most recognizable and often-used spaces on campus. The current field has been in place since 2006, nearly two industry-standard lives. The Royals’ four varsity teams—Women’s Field Hockey, Men’s and Women’s Soccer, and Women’s Lacrosse—will now have a field that rivals its ODAC peers. The installation of the new AstroTurf RootZone 3D carpet and top-of-the-line Brock shock pad will be visually-appealing, and more importantly, provide more consistent ball play and a safer experience for athletes and officials.
