“Marcando Nuestra Huella (Leaving our Footprint)” – Boris Ozuna ’11

Join the Latino Student Alliance in exploring Marcando Nuestra Huella (Leaving our Footprint) featuring reflections from alum and current graduate student Boris Ozuna.

Boris Ozuna, originally from Sincelejo, Colombia, holds a B.A. in Peacebuilding and Development from EMU. He has worked with several non-profit organizations in the areas of popular education, nonprofit management, and community organizing. After finishing his studies at EMU, he went to Washington D.C where he worked at a family literacy program for immigrant families and, more recently, worked as program coordinator at Thrive DC, a support center for people experiencing homelessness. Boris is also a student in the Master in Conflict Transformation Program at the Center for Justice and Peacebuilding here at EMU.
