At a Campus Crusade for Christ retreat eight years ago, I sat with 50 other young women at a Young Life camp in Goshen, Va., listening to a female speaker give a lecture about marriage. Education professor to speak at Shepard Symposium on Social Justice

Kathy Evans, professor of education, will be a keynote speaker at University of Wyoming’s Shepard Symposium on Social Justice in April. She will be joined by Judy and Dennis Shepard, the parents of Matthew Shepard, who was murdered outside of Laramie during the 1998 fall semester, and University of Wyoming education professor Angela Jaime.
