CJP’s 25th Anniversary Celebration postponed to 2021

The Center for Justice and Peacebuilding’s 25th Anniversary Celebration, planned for June 5-7, 2020, at Eastern Mennonite University, has been postponed for a year.

The new event will be June 4-6, 2021.

“We’re calling it ‘25 plus 1’,” said celebration committee chair Patience Kamau.

Many of the scheduled speakers have already marked their calendars, including Alicia Garza, John Paul Lederach and sujatha baliga. Others are still considering the rescheduled dates, Kamau said.

The anniversary celebration was to be held at the end of the final session of the Summer Peacebuilding Institute.

SPI continues in an entirely online format.

The 25th anniversary podcast and guest writer series will continue. Visit www.emu.edu/cjp/anniversary.
