Eastern Mennonite University (EMU) will host a prayer vigil for victims of the Hesston, Kansas shootings and for the Hesston community on Thursday, March 3, at 6:30 p.m.
Hesston College, located a few miles from the site of the shooting, is a sister Mennonite school of EMU, with many connections between the two communities.
The vigil will be at Thomas Plaza, between the Campus Center and the fountain. Gather for singing, candle lighting, sharing, prayer and tolling the community bell for each victim.
The event is open to the public and hosted by Campus Ministries.
