Nine EMU biology and chemistry majors will present findings from their research projects at the final Suter Science Seminar of the school year, 4 p.m. Friday, Apr. 17, in room 104 of the Suter Science Center.
The projects to be discussed are: “electrophysiology of lutamate receptors,” Dr. Greta Ann Herin, mentor; “chemoattractants of cucumber beetles,” Dr. Matthew Siderhurst, mentor; and “neonatal exposure to exogenous estrogens alter mouse reproductive development and function,” Dr. Roman Miller, mentor.
For most of the participating students, these research presentations culminate a year of research effort in working alongside EMU professors.
Admission to the seminar is free. Refreshments will be served 15 minutes prior to the program.
