Jean works for “Seeds of Community of Peace”, an orphanage for homeless girls, boys and adolescents in Burundi.
Jean continues to be in exile in the United States from his native Burundi where he worked as a civil engineer as director of public works and adjudicator in the Ministry of Finance.
Jean is an active member at Park View Mennonite Church. His wife Spes works as a nurse at the Virginia Mennonite Retirement Community. They have four daughters.
