A new century for EMU calls for a new vision! The fall/winter issue of Crossroads gives you the lowdown on our new tagline – where it came from, what it means and why it’s important. We think you’ll see it’s a fresh new take on why an EMU education is so important now. The concept also honors the university’s long legacy of uplifting treasured values of service, community-building and leadership.
This legacy is woven thematically through the magazine content, including in a pictorial recognition of this magazine’s 101st volume. We hope the covers of past Crossroads, which feature our alumni from around the world making a difference in various professions and contexts, will remind you that “Lead Together” applies to many generations!
In this issue, you’ll also find:
- a “Vision 2020+” from President Susan Schultz Huxman;
- more from our four deans on the university’s new organizational structure;
- students share their discoveries while at EMU;
- just a few examples of our alumni leading together!;
- EMU programs celebrating anniversaries;
- and our expanded Mileposts section.
