Royals move in!

Once again, EMU is enlivened with the chatter of voices in the hallways, activity on the Quad, meals on Thomas Plaza, cyclists flying by on campus paths and the disc golf baskets clanging up on the hill. On Saturday and Sunday, EMU welcomed approximately 485 new and returning residential students back to campus for move-in, orientation and welcoming activities. Classes begin Tuesday.

After check-in and move-in, students were invited to a multitude of activities on Sunday, with several options to create your own triathlon, pentathlon or decathlon (biking with the Cycling Club, running with the XC team, yoga, ping-pong, foosball, climbing wall, spectating the hens at EMU’s chicken coops, etc.) and other more serious intellectually leaning activities (visiting the Sustainable Food Initiative’s gardens, a faith and spirituality discussion, exploring EMU’s trash and recycling systems, Green Dot bystander training).
