Debra Gingerich ‘90 was honored by JMX Brands with the President’s Award during the specialty retailer’s annual awards ceremony on Jan. 20, 2021. This was the second time she received the prestigious award in four years.
Gingerich was the first employee JMX Brands hired, working as writer and communications manager from 2004-06. She returned to the Sarasota-based company in 2015 to manage the content, communications and marketing team. Gingerich was promoted to her role as director of marketing in 2018.
One of her recent contributions was spearheading search engine optimization for the company’s flagship Amish furniture website www.dutchcrafters.com. The site saw an increase of 184 percent in organic traffic and contributed to a 54 percent increase in revenue growth.
