No sooner are fall semester classes under way than Theater at EMU will give three performances of “Stones In His Pockets” by Marie Jones, 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, Sept. 2, 4 & 5, on Thomas Plaza of the Campus Center at EMU.

Set in an Irish village where a big-budget Hollywood movie is being shot, two actors (Brent Anders and Kelsey Landes) play 15 different characters on a film location, struggling to find a sense of reality in a world crazed by celebrity.

The 105-minute play, with one intermission, is directed by Tom Joyner, new theater department faculty member, and produced by arrangement with Nick Hern Books. It is appropriate for ages 12 and up.

Rain location is the Mainstage Theater of the University Commons.

General admission (adult, non-EMU student or child, senior citizen) is $5 at the door.
