Bob received his B.S. in Applied Math from the University of Virginia and his M.S. in Computer Science from Johns Hopkins University. He also holds an MDiv from Eastern Mennonite Seminary and an M.A. in Conflict Transformation from EMU’s Center for Justice and Peace. Bob spent 15 years working in analysis and software development in Washington DC. He then spent the next ten years serving and teaching abroad for the United Methodist Church, primarily in Palestine, Afghanistan, Tonga and the Philippines. Bob continues to be interested in international development and local refugee resettlement. He enjoys spending time with his wife Olma (also an EMU graduate) on the family farm in Bergton.
