Cameron Carter is the Next Generation Internship Coordinator with the Bridging Divides Initiative at Princeton University. Cameron joined BDI after 15 years in higher education teaching and internship program management, primarily in social work education. Her career has centered on guiding students through experiential learning opportunities in the U.S. and globally. Cameron also brings a strong background in state and local public sector consulting in Virginia with an emphasis on research-informed policy, group facilitation process design, and conflict transformation.
Cameron holds a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from Virginia Commonwealth University, a Graduate Certificate in Conflict Transformation from Eastern Mennonite University, and a BA in both music and psychology from Randolph Macon College. She is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) concentrating on administration, planning, and policy practice and has specialized training in Strategies for Trauma Awareness & Resilience (STAR).
