Helen Jean Smith Print Sales Support SVCC

The Shenandoah Valley Children’s Choir (SVCC) is selling canvas prints and note cards featuring “Chorister Frolic,” a painting done by local artist Helen Jean Smith, to raise support for the program, now in its 21st year.

“Smith has painted so many of our beautiful landmarks and homes, our rural pastimes and vistas, and captured them in her whimsical and endearing style,” said Michele Manning, choir parent assistant.

A set of note cards (eight in a set) are $12, prints (10×12) are $25 or (12×16) $35. The prints are signed by Smith and all proceeds benefit the choir.

Purchase the cards by contacting the SVCC office by emailing svcc@emu.edu or phone 540-432-4650. You may also stop by the SVCC office between 8:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. to purchase. Offices are located on the first floor, south, of EMU’s Roselawn residence hall.

Smith’s work has been commissioned by former Governor Chuck and Mrs. Robb and political consultants James Carville and Mary Matalin.
