EMU Music Faculty Artist Series features trombonist Kyle Remnant

Kyle Remnant, new director of bands at Eastern Mennonite University, presents his first recital for the Music Faculty Artist Series on Saturday, Feb. 26, 7 p.m. in Martin Chapel. His program is titled “An Evening of Ballad(e)s and Other Musical Narratives.” The concert is free. Masks are required to attend.

The concert will also be available via livestream on the Eastern Mennonite University Music Program Facebook page.

Joined by Steven Brancaleone on the piano, Remnant will share his artistry on trombone and tuba as he features music from an international array of composers: Gareth Wood, Wales, U.K.; Eugene Bozza, France; Arthur Pryor, U.S.); Benedetto Marcello, Italy; Oystein Baadsvik, Norway; and Joni Mitchell, Canada.

The final event of the series features David Berry, piano, professor of music, on Friday, March 18.
