The Paul R. Yoder Sr., Golf Classic is back again in 2011. The popular golf outing hosted by the Loyal Royals will be Friday, Oct. 7, at Heritage Oaks Golf Course in Harrisonburg.
Similar to previous years, the format is four-person Captain’s Choice, with shotgun starts at both 8 a.m. and 1 p.m. There is a $10,000 Hole-In-One Prize and additional prizes on all of the par-3 holes.
A new addition this year, however, will a women’s division. Prizes will be awarded to the top teams in each of three flights, as well as separate prizes for women. And although the Golf Classic is still the first full weekend in October, this year it will not be the same weekend as Eastern Mennonite University’s Homecoming, which will be Oct. 14-16.
A continental breakfast will be served at 7:30 a.m., for the golfers and a lunch provided at 12:00pm in the pavilion at Heritage Oaks.
The cost is $100 per golfer for one tee time, or $160 to play both morning and afternoon rounds. Sponsorships are also available.
For the registration form or more information, see the Paul R. Yoder Sr., Golf Classic Form.
